The Wandiyali Indigenous Classic is an Aboriginal surfing competition held as part of Surf Fest in Newcastle, NSW. The event is one of the biggest Indigenous surfing competitions in the nation, offering significant cash prizes to the winners.

Aboriginal surfers from across the country make their way to Newcastle to compete each year.Over the last three years, Sam worked closely with the event's owners to design the event's branding, clothing range, and promotional materials. Sam was also fortunate enough to collaborate with Aboriginal elders to create unique surfboard designs, each to be awarded to the winners of the event.
